Are NIBM courses approved by AICTE or UGC?
NIBM provides certificate courses and are NOT approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or University Grants Commission (UGC).
What is a remedy for clearing confusions related to assignments and courseware of NIBM?

What is Fast Track program?
Fast track option is a method by which a student can complete his/her opted course in half the actual duration.
Will the fees be refunded anyway?
In general terms fees will not be refunded after the student has commenced his/her course of study.
How to make the program fee payment?
Towards the program fee payment students are requested to send a demand draft or cheque or NEFT /online transfer. The demand draft should be in the favour of- National institute of Business Management, payable at Chennai.
Will the student get a receipt for the course fee paid?
Yes, on the payment of full program fees/ installment fee, a receipt will be sent to the student by post.
Can a student change his/her specialisation that he opted initially?
Yes, a student can change his/her specialisation on special request by paying some specified amount of money within a stipulated period of time.
How are the materials of study distributed to the students?
The study materials are delivered to an NIBM student to the address provided by the student via courier or registered post.
Does NIBM provide any online guidance/assistance?
Yes, NIBM does provide online guidance and assistance. The students are supposed to log on to the website and post their queries.
How many times in a year does NIBM conduct examinations?
NIBM conducts examinations 4 times in a year.
What are the modes of examination?
There are two modes through which examinations are conducted.
• Online Mode
• Centre-based mode
Will a student get his certificate in MBA one year program?
Yes, NIBM does provide a certificate for one year MBA program.
Will the examinations have descriptive or objective type of questions?
The examinations will have Descriptive type questions only.
What is the percentage needed to pass in the NIBM examinations?
Passing percentage is 45% is each subject and 50% overall aggregate.
Will a distance course cost me more money than an on-campus course?
A distance course is always less expensive than an on-campus course.
What are the deadlines of admission?
